Karnataka Revokes Hijab Ban, Permits Religious Symbols in Classrooms
The Indian state of Karnataka has revoked its 2022 order that banned the hijab in educational institutions. This decision now permits students to wear religious symbols, including the hijab, along with their uniforms in classrooms.
