Norwegian Defense Procurement Leaders Charged with Gross Financial Embezzlement
Three leaders within Norway's state-owned defense procurement agency, Forsvarsmateriell, have been charged with gross financial embezzlement. The charges stem from an investigation by Økokrim, which found one of the accused was hired as a consultant from his own company and illegally inflated his hourly rate by 35 percent.
