The six finalists include Marie NDiaye and Yáng Shuāng-zǐ alongside Daniel Kehlmann’s second nomination for the £50,000 prize Daniel Kehlmann, Marie NDiaye and Yáng Shuāng-zǐ are among the six authors shortlisted for the 2026 International Booker prize, as the award marks its 10th anniversary. The organisers of the International Booker Prize announced on Tuesday the 2026 shortlist for the prestigious literary award which recognises works of fiction from around the world that have been translated into English.The six finalists include French novelist and playwright Marie NDiaye, winner of the country's top Goncourt prize.
