BMW Developing More Affordable Neue Klasse Electric Model

BMW je promijenio namjenu oznake i3 kako bi dao ime električnoj limuzini, a ne kompaktnom hatchbacku koji je prvobitno predstavljala. Sada navodno planira proizvesti mali električni hatchback sličan originalnom modelu i3, a BMW ga vidi kao jedan od svojih najvažnijih modela.
