Czech Company Signs Deal for Potential Bushmaster Armored Vehicle Production

The state-owned Military Repair Plant (VOP CZ) in Šenov u Nového Jičína has signed an agreement with Thales, potentially allowing it to manufacture Bushmaster armored vehicles in the Czech Republic if the multinational company secures a European contract.

Když nadnárodní společnost Thales získá v Evropě zakázku na obrněná vozidla Bushmaster, bude je vyrábět státní Vojenský opravárenský podnik (VOP CZ) v Šenově u Nového Jičína. Novinářům to v úterý řekl ředitel VOP CZ Vlastimil Navrátil. Zástupci VOP CZ a firmy Thales v úterý podepsali alianční dohodu o strategické spolupráci při výrobě těchto vozidel.
