New Nuclear Clocks Developed in Europe and China Challenge Atomic Clocks

Scientists in Europe and China have developed new nuclear clocks that could compete with existing atomic clocks. While not yet as precise as the best current atomic clocks, these new devices are already suitable for research in new physics.
