Ghanaian civil servants' union announces inevitable strike

The Civil and Local Government Staff Association of Ghana (CLOGSAG) has declared a nationwide strike from March 9, stating it is inevitable after years of unsuccessful negotiations with the government regarding their conditions of service. A labor expert noted it is unfair to blame only the current administration as the dispute predates it.
