Three Taken to Hospital After Collisions on Hellisheiði Pass
A mountain road in south-west Iceland was temporarily shut after several traffic accidents in severe winter conditions. Police said the route across Hellisheiði remained closed for around an hour following crashes near the ski lodge in Hveradalur. Emergency services were called to help motorists after vehicles slid off the road in blizzard-like conditions.
