The Ayyappa awaits: Sabarimala supreme's sanctum nears Supreme Court's final verdict

By 2016, the Court began openly questioning whether such a ban could withstand constitutional scrutiny. In September 2018, a five-judge Constitution Bench delivered a 4 to 1 verdict that shook Kerala.
