Health crisis brews at Delhi protest as heat & overcrowding trigger viral infections

Protesters at Jantar Mantar are experiencing viral infections and dehydration. Volunteer doctors are treating many individuals for sore throats and fevers. Overcrowding and open sleeping conditions are worsening the health situation for attendees. Elderly protesters are also seeking care for existing conditions like diabetes and hypertension. Injuries from police action and general fatigue are also being addressed by medical volunteers.
