Trial Progresses in Novi Sad Canopy Collapse Case

After more than 20 months, an indictment has been confirmed in one of three ongoing court cases concerning the collapse of a canopy in Novi Sad that killed 16 people, a development seen as a positive step by legal experts.

Nakon što je potvrđena optužnica u jednom od tri sudska procesa koji se vode za pad novosadske nadstrešnice i pogibiju 16-oro ljudi, iako posle više od 20 meseci nakon te tragedije, stručna javnost je to ocenila kao prvi pozitivan pomak u slučaju koji je potresao čitavo društvo i pokrenuo talas studentskih i građanskih protesta koji se ne zaustavljaju.
