Suspect arrest for murder of beheaded woman

(ANSA) - ROME, FEB 20 - Police on Thursday arrested a man suspected of murdering a woman whose beheaded body was found on Wednesday at a site formerly operated by a branch of the National Research Council (CNR) at Scandicci outside Florence. The suspect is a 44-year-old homeless German man, sources said. There was traces of blood on his clothes, the sources said. During the investigation police seized a blood-stained knife and a machete.
