Burchnall joins Leven at Aberdeen for interim spell

Interim Aberdeen manager Peter Leven has added former Notts County and Forest Green manager Ian Burchnall to his coaching staff. The 43-year-old becomes first-team coach and joins assistant manager Tony Docherty in supporting Leven until the end of the season. Burchnall has managed in Scandinavia with Viking and Ostersunds and held assistant manager positions at Belgian side Anderlecht and English Premier League outfit Wolves.
