Serbian Interior Ministry Alleges Politically Motivated Targeting in Media

The Serbian Ministry of Interior (MUP) has claimed that certain media outlets are engaging in politically motivated attempts to target the leadership of the MUP and the police. The ministry views these actions as an effort to undermine their authority.

Ministarstvo unutrašnjih poslova (MUP) odbacilo je danas kao "tendenciozne, politički motivisane i krajnje neodgovorne" navode "pojedinih medija" u vezi sa slučajem "Senjak" i sa postupanjem policije tokom subotnjeg skupa u centru Beograda na poziv studenata u blokadi.U saopštenju se navodi da su "pokušaji političkog targetiranja rukovodstva Ministarstva unutrašnjih poslova i policije deo šire kampanje usmerene ka urušavanju poverenja građana u institucije države i bezbednosni sistem Srbije".
