Mahama announces mega dam Projects and dam rehabilitation to transform griculture

President John Dramani Mahama yesterday announced a landmark irrigation programme during his 2026 State of the Nation Address (SONA), placing the construction of two new mega dams and the rehabilitation of eight existing irrigation dams at the centre of Ghana’s agricultural transformation strategy.
