A few years later, he was arrested precisely on March 15th because he wanted to commemorate the revolution, and was imprisoned in Buda in the same place from which the March youth freed him in 1848.

Pár évvel később éppen március 15-én tartóztatták le, mert meg akart emlékezni a forradalomról, és Budán ugyanott börtönözték be, ahonnan 1848-ban a márciusi ifjak kiszabadították. A kiegyezéskor amnesztiát kapott, parlamenti képviselő lett, végül elszegényedve halt meg.
