Warrenton girls 8th grade basketball team wins state title

On Sunday March 1, the Warrenton 8th grade girls basketball team won the middle school basketball state tournament in Salem. They defeated Madras/Warm Springs 60-52 in the championship game. They won 5 of 6 games on the weekend with their only loss being to Madras on Saturday night.
