Latvian Farm Becomes First in Baltics to Raise Water Buffaloes for Mozzarella Production
A farm in the Cēsis region of Latvia, "Jaunžūras," has become the first in Latvia and the Baltic states to begin raising water buffaloes. The owners plan to develop a new business producing mozzarella cheese and other dairy products from buffalo milk.
