Italy's communications authority to report Google AI Mode to EU

(ANSA) - ROME, FEB 18 - Giacomo Lasorella, the president of Italian communications authority Agcom, said Wednesday that the watchdog was poised to report Google's AI Mode to the European Commission due to the impact it is having on the media. "There is a risk of restricting freedom of information and the right of citizens to access multiple sources of information enshrined in Article 3 of the European Freedom Act.
