Croatian opposition criticizes new media freedom law, citing unresolved issues

The Croatian parliamentary opposition has warned that the new Law on the Implementation of the European Media Freedom Act fails to address key problems such as pressure on editors and journalists and non-transparent advertising, while the ruling party insists the law will ensure the independence of public services.
