Wildfire scorches 20% of Costa Rica’s Palo Verde National Park
A wildfire, ignited by a lightning strike, has burned approximately 4,000 hectares, or 20%, of Costa Rica's Palo Verde National Park in just over three days. As of Monday, fire crews had not yet brought the blaze under control.
