First Bird Flu Outbreak Confirmed in Širvintos District, Lithuania
Lithuania has confirmed its first highly pathogenic bird flu outbreak of the year in a non-commercial poultry farm in the Širvintos district on June 8. The virus was identified by the National Food and Veterinary Risk Assessment Institute laboratory.
