Futenma Base Site Not Yet Returned to Japan After 30 Years

Thirty years after an initial agreement, the Futenma base site in Okinawa's Ginowan city has still not been returned to Japan. Tokyo and Washington had initially stated that the return would be realized within five to seven years of the agreement.
