Heavy Monsoon Rains Cause Widespread Flooding and Class Suspensions in Iloilo
Intensified southwest monsoon (habagat) rains have led to red and orange rainfall warnings across Western Visayas, particularly Iloilo, and parts of Luzon, resulting in class suspensions in numerous towns and cities. In Iloilo City, flooding has spread to 40 barangays across seven districts, submerging roads and residential areas.
