Iberian Lynx Population Recovers from Near Extinction

The Iberian lynx population has dramatically increased from 94 individuals at the turn of the century to 2,633 today, thanks to a successful conservation program. Despite this recovery, the species still faces threats from illegal hunting and vehicle collisions, which caused 200 deaths in the last year.
