Portuguese SNS director states eliminating waiting lists and providing family doctors for all is not possible

The executive director of Portugal's National Health Service (SNS) has stated that it is not feasible to eliminate waiting lists and ensure family doctors for every citizen. He attributed this to a lack of specialized resources, denying claims that he ordered a reduction in healthcare production.
