Rohm, Toshiba, and Mitsubishi Electric to Discuss Power Semiconductor Merger
Semiconductor giants Rohm, Toshiba, and Mitsubishi Electric are set to begin merger negotiations for their power semiconductor businesses, used in EVs and data centers. Mitsubishi Electric will join existing talks between Rohm and Toshiba, with an announcement expected soon, while Rohm is also considering an acquisition offer from Denso.
