Thai Minor Sexual Exploitation Case Goes to Trial in Japan

The first trial has begun for a Tokyo shop manager accused of violating the Child Welfare Act by forcing a 12-year-old Thai girl into sexual services. The manager pleaded not guilty to part of the charges, claiming he did not know the girl was a minor.
