Twenty Czech Police Officers Charged with Abuse of Power and Bribery

The General Inspectorate of Security Forces (GIBS) has charged 20 police officers from the Domašov highway department in Brno with suspected abuse of power, with some also facing charges of accepting bribes.

Generální inspekce bezpečnostních sborů (GIBS) obvinila 20 policistů z dálničního oddělení v Domašově na Brněnsku, a to pro podezření ze zneužití pravomoci a část i z přijímání úplatků, napsal ve čtvrtek Denik.cz. Obviněným hrozí podle něj až několikaleté tresty. Informaci potvrdil Radiožurnálu mluvčí krajského státního zastupitelství v Brně Petr Lužný.
