Supermarket Rice Prices Decline for Third Consecutive Week in Japan

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, the average price of rice sold at supermarkets nationwide for the week ending May 10 was 3,742 yen per 5 kg, including tax, a decrease of 54 yen from the previous week. This marks the third consecutive week of price declines.
