Slovenian Health Insurance Fund Denies Funding for Boy's Treatment in USA
The Health Insurance Institute of Slovenia (ZZZS) rejected funding for the treatment of a boy named Teo, who has Duchenne muscular dystrophy, with the drug Elevidys in the USA. A medical council believes the treatment is not expected to lead to a cure.
