Česká společnost ornitologická (ČSO) ve čtvrtek v pražském parku Portheimka oslavila sto let od svého vzniku. Jejími hlavními pilíři jsou výzkum ptáků, jejich ochrana a šíření osvěty. Organizace má aktuálně 8500 členů a jejich počet neustále roste.
