Icelandic party leaders hold informal talks

Leaders of Iceland's Independence Party, Progressive Party, Reform Party, and Centre Party held an informal lunch meeting. Hildur Björnsdóttir, leader of the Independence Party, stated that these were not formal majority government negotiations but rather a useful conversation.

Ekki var um eiginlegar meirihlutaviðræður að ræða þegar oddvitar Sjálfstæðisflokksins, Framsóknar, Viðreisnar og Miðflokks hittust á fundi í hádeginu. Aðeins var um óformlegan hádegisverð að ræða, að sögn Hildar Björnsdóttur, oddvita Sjálfstæðisflokksins, en fundurinn stóð í um tvo tíma.
