S obzirom na to da se lokalni izbori u nedelju održavaju u samo deset opština, te da Srpska napredna stranka sa svojom mašinerijom može da bude prisutna u svim mestima, kontrola izbornog dana postaje centralna tema. Zbog toga su studenti, opozicija i civilni posmatrači organizovali široku mrežu ljudi koji će se time baviti.
