EU Launches Tender for Up to Seven AI Gigafactories, Czech Republic Interested

The European Union has announced a tender for the construction of up to seven large data centers for artificial intelligence across Europe, an increase from the originally planned five. The Czech Republic has expressed interest in hosting one of these 'gigafactories'.

Evropská unie vyhlásila výběrové řízení na vybudování až sedmi velkých datových center pro umělou inteligenci (AI) po celé Evropě. Původně se přitom hovořilo jen o pěti takzvaných gigafactory pro AI. Evropská komise (EK) o tom ve čtvrtek informovala ve svém prohlášení.
