Lithuanian Authorities Uncover Large-Scale Farmer Support Embezzlement Scheme
Lithuanian financial crime investigators have launched a large-scale pre-trial investigation into a scheme to embezzle nearly 0.5 million euros in support funds intended for young farmers. The operation involved 50 raids and several suspects, linked to 26 fictitious young farmers.
