Japan was hit by two successive earthquakes, with magnitudes of 5.2 and 4.6 on the Richter scale, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre.

Sipas Qendrës Sizmologjike Evropiane-Mesdhetare, nga tërmeti u godit edhe ishulli Shikoku. Ndërsa Epiqendra u regjistrua në qytetin e Neobeoka-s.
