Linear Rainbands Feared in Northern Kyushu and Yamaguchi Prefecture

Due to an active rainy season front, heavy rainfall is expected mainly in western Japan, with a risk of linear rainbands forming in northern Kyushu and Yamaguchi Prefecture by this evening. The Japan Meteorological Agency is urging strict caution against landslides, flooding in low-lying areas, and rising river levels.
