Morgan County athletes earn medals at state Special Olympics

Jun. 5—Morgan County athletes brought home over 23 medals and six ribbons at the Alabama Special Olympics at Troy last week. The 19 athletes represented Morgan County in bowling, swimming and golf, said Bailey Starnes, therapeutics coordinator for Decatur Parks and Recreation.
