ECJ Rules Church Exit Alone Insufficient for Dismissal in Caritas Case

The European Court of Justice (ECJ) has ruled that an employee's resignation from the Catholic Church alone is not sufficient grounds for dismissal, in a case involving a Caritas advisor who was terminated.
