Kyushu Shinkansen Partially Resumes Service After Earthquake
JR Kyushu announced that the Kyushu Shinkansen will resume service between Shin-Minamata and Kagoshima-Chuo stations from July 7, after being suspended due to an earthquake. The section between Kumamoto and Shin-Minamata is expected to remain closed through August.
