Justice Siddharth Mridul allegedly operated an LPG distributorship during his judicial service. This action appears to violate judicial ethics and conduct codes. Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited issued notices regarding the alleged contract violations. The agency dealership was eventually suspended by the oil company. The controversy involves a former judge and an oil marketing PSU.
