Flight preponed without notice, court orders Rs 50,000 compensation with ticket refund

Two friends were left stranded in Bali after Vistara preponed their return flight without notice. Forced to buy new tickets, they missed connecting flights, incurring further costs. A consumer commission has now ordered the airline to pay Rs 50,000 compensation, a full ticket refund with interest, and Rs 15,000 in litigation costs, deeming the initial award inadequate for their ordeal.
