Svalbard Mining Cleanup Project Hailed as Major Success

A large-scale environmental cleanup project in Svea, Svalbard, has been declared a major success, with nearly all traces of over a century of mining operations now removed. The initiative is considered the largest project ever undertaken under Norwegian direction.
