The European Commission said it preliminarily found Pornhub, Stripchat, XNXX and XVideos failed to protect children's rights and well-being in violation of the Digital Services Act (DSA) under the investigation launched in May 2025.

The EU accused Pornhub, Stripchat, XNXX and XVideos of breaching rules by letting children access pornographic content on their ‌sites. Companies can be fined as much as six per cent of their global annual turnover if found guilty of Digital Services ⁠Act breaches.
