Russia fires nearly 1,000 drones at Ukraine in 24 hours, killing at least eight

Moscow launched nearly 1,000 drones at Ukraine within 24 hours in one of its biggest-ever daytime attacks, killing at least eight people and damaging a UNESCO heritage site in Lviv. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Tuesday slammed Moscow's "absolute depravity" and said Russia "has no intention of actually ending this war".
