Slovakia's Public Finance Deficit Estimated Lower at 4.6 Percent by NBS
Slovakia's budget deficit for last year was likely lower than initial estimates, with the National Bank of Slovakia (NBS) estimating it at 4.6 percent. State transport companies and some special purpose funds managed their finances better, though the Budgetary Council warns that much of the savings are temporary.
