Pakistan Axes Inflation-Shielding Subsidy Budget by 8%
Pakistan's subsidy budget, intended to shield against inflation, has been cut by 8% for the next fiscal year. A total of Rs1.09 trillion has been earmarked, a reduction from the outgoing year's allocation.
