House approves changes in some committee leaderships

MANILA, Philippines — The leadership of several committees in the House of Representatives has been changed, following a motion from the chamber’s Majority bloc. During the session late Thursday night, Assistant Majority Leader and Batangas Rep. Ryan Recto said the Majority moves to reconsider the election of Southern Leyte Rep. Roger Mercado and Agusan del Norte Rep.
