Lithuanian Minister Calls for Completion of EU Direct Payment Convergence by 2034
Lithuanian Agriculture Minister Andrius Palionis has expressed a desire for the convergence of direct payments to be finalized by 2034. This comes after the European Commission reserved 20% less funds for Lithuanian agriculture in the upcoming Common Agricultural Policy budget and altered the funding model.
